Northern Suburbs

Northern Suburb properties are most times the best priced properties in the whole of Cape Town.

 

Basically, the current Northern  Suburbs is a combination of previously separate (farmers) villages which were developed in the late 90′s and early 2000′s and now form a densely build up area ,still most times with bigger erven then in the rest of Cape Town. From Bellville one drives now along Durban Road through a dense commercial note (offices and Tygervalley) shopping Centre to Durbanville. Durbanville is a shining example from a small village which is now developed to enormous proportions.

 

Northern Suburb properties located in Kraaifontein and Brackenfell are well prices and apartments are still available around the R 600,000 mark.

 

Plattekloof and more specifically the Burgundy estate are areas of huge growth.  Great views to Table Mountain and Robben Island make the location attractive. Easy access to the Century City area with its huge office nodes, 140,000 m2 Canal Walk Shopping Center make it a great area to live in. Via de N7 other industrial parks, like Montegue Gardens, and offices nodes are easy accessible too.

 

Burgundy offers apartments from R 699,000 and semi-detached homes at R 880,000.

 

Northern Suburb properties are usually well priced and therefore appreciated by the financial institutions. The banks like to grant bonds in this stable market.
