Social Responsibility

The slogan of Immo Invest “make a difference” was the base for in depth involvement in various community projects. As member of the Waterfront Rotary Club, Marcel Hoogebeen was involved in the Umbono HIV/Aids awareness project.

For more than 10 years Marcel Hoogebeen was Chairperson of Christine Revell Children’s Home. A home for 49 children from birth till 5 years old. For more info look at www.crch.co.za

Marcel Hoogebeen was Chairperson of the Management Board of Saint Francis Children’s Home. 45 boys from 3-18 years old are housed there and big needs are to be fulfilled.  International donors sponsor the Home. See www.st-francis.org.za.

Currenlty  he is involved in Little Lambs daycare in Hout Bay, caring for 250 kids; see www.littlelambs.org.za

Furthermore Marcel Hoogebeen was a Trustee of the van Ewijck Stigting, a foundation that aims to give financial support to persons and institutions who strive to promote cultural relations in the widest sense between The Netherlands and South Africa. For more info see www.vanewijckfoundation.co.za
